On July 22, 2007 the Forest Bros team, which consists of two Vintorez players and three boys form the woodball games, won the Third National Paintball Tournament for the Eurofootball Cup. I was one of the players on the Vintorez side of the Forest Bros team. The other Vintorez player was my captain – Indje Rasovski AKA Krindo. In total 128 teams participated at the tournament. The scheme was direct elimination, meaning that whenever during the tournament a team suffers a loss it leaves the tournament. So we had to have only wins to continue. And “Yes” we did it, baby! We won all of our games and got to the finals where we eliminated the Tangry team and the Forest Bros (Горските братя) were ranked first ;o)))
I was playing as a front player and had the solo task to reach one of the toughest bunkers – the snake – without being shot. I succeeded in every single game to outrun my opponent and to get to the snake before them. You can imagine that once occupying that bunker I was shooting and eliminating 2 to 3 players of the opposing team every single game. Thankfully I was backed by my teams which covered me during the assault. In 2 out of 7 games I was eliminated but I have already done my task and had eliminated 2 to 3 players – which is pretty good.
Right after the tournament we were giving interviews for Cannel 3 and our captain – Krindo – participated at the morning show of Nova TV.
