Norfolk gathered Bulgarians from the Hampton Roads area under the national tricolor again. On the 19th April 2008, in Norfolk was carried out the traditional International Azalea Festival – a salute to NATO, consisting of two parts – parade of the nations and a NATO fest with national presentations and display.
Bulgaria participated in the parade with a float, richly decorated with flowers in the colors of our national flag.
At the festival that followed, the Bulgarian officers from the Supreme Allied Command Transformation handed out variety of materials, such as books, maps, brochures and pictures, provided by the Bulgaria’s State Agency for Tourism, as well as some sweet treats.

Норфолк отново събра под националния флаг родолюбиви българи от околностите на Hampton Roads.
На 19 април 2008 г., в Норфолк, се състоя традиционния международен фестивал “Азалия” – поздрав към НАТО, състоящ се от две части – парад на нациите и изложение със щандове на 26-те държави, членове на съюза.
България учатваше в парада с платформа, украсена в цветовете на националния флаг. На българския щанд се раздаваха рекламни материали и брошури, осигурени от Държавната агенция по туризъм, както и сладкиши, произведени в България.
