I have selected just some facts, but there is a lot more to tell. This guy is amazing. You can put him on the highest peak of Rocky Mountains or in Sahara or on a glacial in Canada or in the jungles of Asia and few days later he will be dining with you in NY restaurant. For me he is the ultimate survivor. Just watch some of his shows and see how he overcomes all obstacles that nature throws at him.
He is very opportunistic and uses all chances that he has to get out of the situation. This may include eating all kind of bugs, snakes or whatever… check out this video.

There are many cases when people lost in the jungle or in the mountains have survived eating stuff that you won’t even touch. But end of the day they made it through and were rescued.
